We start at 20 neighbors

Trash can service only works if the houses sit close together. Once 20 people in the Hot Springs area are signed up, the route starts — and the first 20 keep $45/month for as long as they stay on it.

What it actually buys

Two small jobs nobody wants, handled on a schedule so you never think about either one.

  • Out on pickup day, back the same day

Your cans go to the curb the morning of collection and come back up the drive after the truck runs. You don't have to remember what day it is or be home.

  • Hand-washed once a month

Scrubbed out inside and under the lid, rinsed clean, and deodorized — so the can stops being the thing you hold your breath around in July.

  • Put back where they belong

Beside the garage, behind the gate, wherever you actually keep them. Not left at the end of the drive.

  • One flat price, no per-visit billing

$55 a month for your first can, $5 a month for each one after it. Same price every month whether it's a five-week month or a holiday week — no per-visit billing to read through.

How the Founding 20 works

  1. You sign up — free

Name, phone, address, how many cans. No card, no charge, no commitment. Takes about twenty seconds.

  2. The counter climbs

You can watch it on this page. A trash route only works when the houses are close together — that’s the whole reason for the number.

  3. We hit 20 and the route starts

Topher calls you, confirms your pickup day and your address, and tells you which morning we’ll be on your street. You can still say no.

  4. You stop thinking about it

Cans out, cans back, every week. Scrubbed clean once a month. $45 a month for your first can, locked, for as long as you stay.

How we actually clean them

Worth being plain about this, because some companies in other cities roll up with a truck-mounted hot-water rig and charge accordingly.

We don’t have one of those. We clean your cans by hand, on site, using the outside spigot at your house — scrubbed out inside and under the lid, rinsed, and deodorized. The rinse water goes out onto the grass, the same as if you washed the can yourself on a Saturday.

It uses a few gallons of your water. That’s the trade, and it’s the reason this is $55 a month instead of ninety. If you’d rather it were done some other way, we’d rather tell you now than surprise you later.

Questions people ask

How much is it?

$55 a month for your first can and $5 a month for each additional can — so two cans is $60, three is $65. The first 20 customers to sign up lock in $45 for the first can instead, and keep that rate for as long as they stay on the service.

Why is a second can only $5 more?

Because the cost is the stop, not the can. Once we're at your house and walking down the drive anyway, a second can is a few extra seconds. It would be easy to charge you another full price for it, but it wouldn't be honest.

How do you clean the cans?

By hand, on site, using the outside spigot at your house. We scrub the inside and the lid, rinse it out, and deodorize it. It's not a truck-mounted pressure washing rig — it's honest scrubbing, and it's why the price is $45 and not $90.

Does it use my water?

Yes — we use your outside hose, and the rinse water goes out onto the grass the same way it would if you washed the can yourself. It's a few gallons. If you'd rather we didn't, this isn't the right service for your place and we'll tell you so.

Why do you need 20 people before starting?

Because a route only works if the houses are close together. Twenty customers in the same part of town means we can run it in one morning a week and hold the price at $45. Five customers spread across the county means an expensive service nobody wants. When we hit 20, it starts.

Am I charged when I sign up?

No. Signing up costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We call you before the first pickup, confirm the day and the price, and you can say no then.
